I'm curious to know what you mean by Iggy "following the same path" that he took. Yes, they're both white rappers, and yes they both rose up very quickly, but there is where the similarity ends. Iggy's style is provocative and sexual, like a number of black and white rappers, but Macklemore is more in the quirky/younger crowd style of music. I don't think they have the same fans, and they rose up different ways. I do agree with you, however, that it was majorly due to their race.

I'd agree with that, I think that might change with next movie because it's the start of their 5 year mission.
