Most of the gym consists of isolation machines. The heavy weights are on a second floor and the base (where there are mostly cardio machines with the expetion of lat pull down, smith machine and chest press) for the floor is wood maybe thats why i see nobody do deadlift or they are to scared to. For squats i gues i could use the smith machine but thats not really optimal. There is not really a place where i could load up the weight on the bar and take it easy on my back.

Hey Scott!

I have been lifting for around 3 months but the problem is there is only a smith machine available so i haven't done any squats and nobody else in my gym does deadlifts so nobody to help me with my form. What would you do?
