It's certainly been so sad to read all the stories - I'm thinking about the right way to address this in the show and how we can help the situation for developers. Last week I said I was trying to navigate what to do or say and that became a whole story unto itself. The situation at Activision is terrible, but there's also a larger industry conversation to have. How do you guys think I should handle it? I realize I have a big platform and am just trying to figure out how best to help tbh.

I'm thinking about this kind of thing, also 2021 and the 50th anniversary of games.

It was a dream of mine for a long time -- since the first show. I asked all three of the guys personally and they agreed to do it, but it did take months of negotiations to make it happen. A few days before the show I thought it had fallen apart and I was really sad. But then magically it came back together. Producing these shows is always an emotional rollercoaster, but I'm really proud of that moment, and glad I was able to help make it happen.

COVID-19 accelerated the plans, but the idea of doing a big global, digital, interactive festival has always been a dream of mine. We sort of started this last year around TGA with The Game Festival.
