Warren's song, Even A Dog Can Shake Hands, actually came out twelve years before the show Action, on his 1987 album Sentimental Hygiene. Fun fact: The song was co-written by three of the four members of R.E.M. (sans Stipe), who also played as Zevon's band on the album. Their drunken studio goofing on covers during the recording of the album was released three years later, under the name Hindu Love Gods.
