Hi there!

How did you get involved in writing media for two very popular sci-fi franchises, and how were you able to make them considered canon by their respective owned companies?

I felt like I got a lukewarm response to it last time I tried to gauge interest in it.

I made a big push last summer to try to get it made (I was hoping to get it out there before last season). I tried asking both league subs, the fx sub, and even /r/copyright for some help in determining how to get it going without facing legal repercussions. After that I tried emailing the FX offices, the producers/creators of the show, and even went as far as trying to contact the firm in NYC that handles all of FXX's licensing - all to no avail! That deflated me a little bit on the whole project - I poured enormous amounts of effort into it - watched every single episode multiple times, tracked over 200 different recurring things, made spreadsheets, statistics, I even actually made several physical copies of the game and play tested the hell out of it to make sure it worked (and was fun!). I still haven't incorporated the last season into it, but if there's enough interest again I'll fire it back up. I'll check into the FX link you provided - maybe I missed something the last time I tried it!
