I did read through the questions. Was really interested what was the 'victim'-s reaction. I see you cannot contact her. Do you have any kind of information about her? Reactions to your (too hard) punishment? Anything at all ?

This whole thing is really messed up. I don't think you deserved this. And hey. Don't give up. Software development? That is a great thing. Try to find some remote job, you can work, and be faceless / nameless. I would also consider moving, but only if that is a legal option.

Maybe a stupid question, but, something else: Is there any way to sue her for what she has done to you? I know lawyers are expensive, but I was wondering if there is any organization that might help you or find a lawyer pro bono?
