Is there any particular way to get a dementia patient to shower? My grandfather is 83 and has dementia, and while none of us care so much that he smells, we're more worried about him getting sick. He showers once a month, if even, and with a lot of resistance to the idea of it. He's already had a few bladder infections and my entire family is just worried about his overall health. He was very stubborn before he had dementia and now it's almost impossible to ask him to do anything.
