I've got a couple of black belts and studied a little aikido. Yes, a person whos studied aikido will have an advantage in a street fight against someone who hasnt trained at all. BJJ and muay thai are probably without a doubt better. There's a reason why you don't see many aikido practitioners in the UFC. But of course, if you get in a street fight, things can get complicated. Like if a guy isn't alone and he has 4 buddies not far away that wanna help out. Most people don't train for something like that. Or they may have knives or guns. Or they may sneak up behind you and just whack you in the head or get you on the ground and start kicking you in the face, and that won't last long. So yes they're all useful, and BJJ/muay thai more so. And IDK about you but training in a dojo is just so different than a for real fight. Going up against a guy who wants to hurt you without any padding is really scary and I don't think training in most gyms can necessarily prepare you for that perfectly, especially once you start getting punched in the face a few times. And the idea of having teeth broken or muscles torn or ear drums popped (I've had all those happen) and not being able to stop it is frightening to me.
