This is pretty good. A (maybe) ELI5 version would be:

Consider a measure of music: 4 beats. If each action/thrust/cut is a quarter note, 1, 2, 3, 4, the indes is the eighth notes: 1 AND 2 AND 3 AND 4. So your opponent swings on 1, and recovers on 2 bringing his sword back for another strike on 3, and then recovers again on 4. Between those beats (on the AND) is when you attack.

The key to winning a sword fight is by taking advantage of those eighth notes; it's where your opponent is the least likely to properly parry and reposte, if at all, and what you do there will control what happens on the next quarter note, and even the entire measure. But a good fencer will know this and will then do something on the sixteenth note to cause you to screw up, essentially causing you to play off time in order to react, and they can take control back.

Edit: hey, thanks for the gold. I shall wear it like a badge of honor whilst I slay many a virgin.

So I stopped reading Cracked articles a while back. (Most) articles used to be funny and even enlightening (i.e.: articles about history), but over time, most articles became soap boxes for people to preach their social justices woes from which is something I personally don't think belongs on a comedy site.

I'm curious, what is your take on this? Is it just a natural evolution of Cracked's new/young writers, or is this something editors request?

You can support the constitution and disagree with others' interpretation of it.

When Infinite came out, I was living with a dude who LOVED to spoil movies and games for people. He got such a kick out of it and would act shocked when people got upset.

When I started to play this, I reminded him how shitty a thing it was to do, and that I had been looking forward to this game for YEARS and I would appreciate it if he would be mature about it for once.

He immediately went online to search for spoilers and within ten minutes ruined the complete story for me. Piece of shit.

The rides and shops are still in the Wayne's World area, but the Wayne's World theme was removed when Paramount sold the park.
