I understand an obscure geology pun on Reddit. I guess the geology classes were not a total waste of time.

It works the same way in real estate. There are people who are brokers, brokers then manage agents. Agents have to sell the house, while the broker gets commission. It can be split 60/40 on big companies like century 21, or 80/20 on smaller companies. It's hard to sell things.

I'm still wondering on why she lost her job... Seems sketchy to not post it as it seems to be a hot topic.

I feel like they do this to put blame into the employees instead of themselves.
