I grew up watching you with my Dad. I was around 5 when the Beruit Bombing in 83 happened. I asked my Dad a lot of questions and he explained everything after telling me, "Let the man finish his report you'll learn something." We watched you every night until I became a teenager and wasn't home as much. My memories of my Dad are directly tied to you and my wanting to learn more about the world comes from that. Thank you.

As for my question. How do you feel about less and less time spent on world reporting and the gutting of investigative journalism? It seems like we know more about the latest vapid media whore than we do about the world. What's your take on it?

Damn. I knew it was working well but I didn't realize it was working that well.

How can you be anal about kids clothes? That just seems dumb. Like when my son plays outside, I expect at the very least grass stains. If they are pants we want to keep nice we only dress him in those for nice occasions. Most times they grow out of them too fast to get really destroyed.

If you don't want your kid to get soaked in drool for hours at a time, I get that.
