What a crock of shit.

It’s common knowledge that Wolfram is the most toxic place to work in Champaign-Urbana.

What has been a favorite item you've come across that wouldn't qualify for display, but still tells a story worth knowing?

For example, In an internship for a musuem in college we received a stack of letters from a Korean War pilot and his fiance - eventually wife - spanning several years. Most of the correspondence was simple things but it was one of the biggest things that felt "real" to me when I was working there.

You don’t have to tell me twice about the university. A completely toxic environment at all levels.

So happy to be out of CU. It’s striking how much awfulness is tolerated there.

Do you see any reason for hope? What keeps you going?

It just seems more and more that evil people are at the helm and driving the world further into darkness. Watching the news feels like watching a fuse burn on stick of dynamite. After school, I had all the hopes of bringing something positive to the world but now it just seems all hopeless. No one wants to smile and understand it seems, only get angry and get revenge. I don't even know where to begin to combat that, even in my own home, much less in the world at large.

Where's the silver lining I'm missing?
