No questions. Just my heart and a virtual hug goes out to you. My daughter who is now 7 has a similar situation in that she has a developmental delay. She will most likely stay at the mental age of a toddler as she ages. So I know what you and your family are going through -- therapy, long term care, and all. Despite all the shortcomings, there is some good, happiness, and joy that can come out of it. Wishing your sister, you and your family all the best.

No questions. Just an upvote and to say that I envy you. I wished I could have done what you did when I was your age. During my time, there was no GPS, cellphone, laptop computers. Doing a trip like this with today's technology is very possible, safer, and much easier than the 'old days' Glad that nothing bad happened to you and you had a great time. The only thing I would have done different would have been to travel with a companion or loved one -- safer and more enjoyable to boot.
