I am of Syrian descent and a Christian. While I know Assad's regime is not innocent of anything, the country were tolerant of Christians under his control. Now there is news of liberated areas, beheading of Christian leaders by rebels, extremist Muslims. If Assad's regime is toppled I feel secular Syrians and/or Christians will be expunged from the country. Assad has done some terrible things and did little to improve the country, but at least it was a somewhat safe area for different ethnicities to live under. What are you thoughts on this? I fear much worse if the rebel's win.

Should teams that trade for players, such as Alex Smith, adapt their offensive scheme to match what he eventually became successful in (e.g. Harbaugh)? Do you think he'll have success at KC?

I think because of the human emotion projected onto these characters. No matter what age you are, you can feel for these characters, relate to them, and have empathy towards them.

I just wanted to say it sounds like you have a decent attitude towards the whole situation, understanding the severity of it etc. I have several questions:

1) I study cancer and it scares the crap out of me. Besides the sudden stoppage of urination, were there any other symptoms that if you look back on you may have overlooked??

2) Advanced stage cancer with metastases can be a real death sentence as you've mentioned. Do you believe in an afterlife? What's your mental status toward death?

I wish you the best of luck and highest quality of life during this extremely tough time. God be with you (I'm Christian, no not anywhere near fanatical, but I like saying it anyway)

This exactly. I was hypnotized in college and sang you give love a bad name (?) By bon jovi. The only way I can describe it was that I knew what I was doing, probably could stop if I wanted to, but I just didn't want to for some reason
