I feel bad for what the interns do on a day to day basis at Goddard. I can easily assume it is not what they envisioned when they decided they wanted to get involved with NASA.

Definitely figure out what you like most about aerospace while in undergrad and go straight into your masters with that as your focus. Aero engineering straight out of school can be unglamorous compared to course work unless you specialize. That's what I wish I had done at least.
