When I started caring for my bed-ridden mother, I noticed she was getting the Miami Herald delivered to her house on weekends. Then a bill came in the mail for over 800 dollars for just one year of the Sunday edition delivered to her house. I cancelled it and they kept delivering the paper anyway, then they got a collection agency after us claiming we didn't pay the new bill. Then they kept calling the house for months to re-subscribe, and I'd tell them there's no way I'm paying like 15 dollars for each copy of a newspaper. And I keep hearing all this "you need to support your local news" stuff. Yeah I'll pass.
