A "loudmouth in a bar" is not a threat to your life, self defense doesn't mean hospitalize anyone that claims they could kick your ass. If that loudmouth at a bar is using enough force to seriously injure you or pulls a weapon or something, and you attack only until they stop attacking you, I doubt it'd go that badly for you. But the US is a big place with wildly varying laws and police, you might be in an area that's draconian with self defense.

If I wanted to sift through shit for soiled spoils, what entry level job should I be seeking? When working in a sewer are you typically alone? How much interaction with other people is necessary?
