I am, however, concerned that by publishing with Macmillan, your book will not be able to be accessed by a large group of readers. I am a huge supporter of diversity in children's publishing and don't mean any disrespect to you! But I was wondering about children's publishing: were you aware of the issues surrounding Macmillan and what do you think authors themselves can do to make sure their books are more easily accessible to children while still making money for their work?
