Could you drop the bass?

I ran in the rain this morning I felt The Spirit. Totally a high!

I'm not an investor or anything, but it all seems very lucrative for both short and long terms. If I didn't have much money (say in the couple of hundreds or thousands), what would be the best path to follow to grow my wealth into a significant level? Like, literally, what steps should I take?

I hope you can come back and answer this one.

I started running about 3 months ago and I'm totally hooked. I love it now. I'm 36, 243 lbs at 5'11" and I'm planning on running my first half in February, with hopes to do a full marathon in Spring or Fall of next year. I've been reading tons on how to train. I feel like I'm getting better but still pacing about 10:15/mile.

My question is this; what is the possibility that at my age and fitness level, I could ever run a marathon in under 2:30?

Do you feel like we add society and culture ate losing a grip on philosophy? It's just speculation but I feel like fewer kids today going into college are not seeking philosophy as a major. Do you think there is still room in our society to make philosophical advances?
