How do you take a trigger in a dream and make myself know it's a dream and take control of it? Sometimes I'll experience something specific (for me, it's losing teeth -- which I hate!!), and my brain goes "this is happening, so it must be a dream, but since it feels so real, it must be real" and I can't take over.

Edit: just wanted to add that I've naturally lucid dreamed before (and enjoy flying and breathing underwater quite a lot!), but it's been a while since the last time.

That's exactly right! Thanks for the explanation! Fortunately for me, flying is all mental (no flapping arms here lol), so I'll try that "continued reality check" out.

Hello! Thanks for your work! :)

I used to chat with one of my old friends from college about this. She is from Arizona, and she mentioned how she would feel more depressed on cloudy/rainy days. I, on the other hand, am from the Pacific Northwest, and I've never noticed having SAD in my life. Could this be because I grew up in a cloudier environment compared to my friend and so am more used to less sunny weather?
