When will Microsoft standardise the behaviour of different Office applications?

Example 1: In Word, the tab key enters a tab. In OneNote, it adds a new table cell. There have been complaints on uservoice about this for years. Why can't you at least make this configurable?

Example 2: Onenote and Word have math autocorrect, but OneNote's only works in "math regions". When taking notes,I often just want to insert a mathematical character using the keyboard, not an equation.

Example 3: Word has configurable styles, Excel has cell styes and conditional formatting. When will Onenote have editable styles?

Finally, what's the one ON feature that people should use more?

What equipment do you use? (to open ipads, remove surface-mount components, antistatic devices etc). I still have an iphone 4 that, while getting slower, is still working well. Not sure if I'll update to a 7 or not .....
