what would you say to warn people like my Mom about MLM con artists?

she has this "friend" in her life 20+ years that she could never see through. but i always saw through her.

i've seen her texts to my mom and it's all just lovey-dovey "you're my sister, you're amazing. everything you say is right" affirmative BS. (she's good at reading people and can tell my mom wants that kind of reassuring presence)

my mom spent so much time and money on this MLM, never made a dime, but STILL thinks this person is her friend.

how do i help break the spell?
