UBI is what unions and other progressives are to scared to fight for because it would kill all the six-figure union director jobs across the country. But it's literally the epitome of what unions are trying to do: empower people enough that they can always choose dignity over a undignified paycheck, should the choice come to them. On top of that, UBI is literally what conservatives are trying to do: scale back government oversight over the private sector and let individual liberty be the rule of the day.

I'm dumbfounded that people are chomping at the bit to pass this sort of legislation on both sides of the aisle. It's literally everyone's wet dream.
