This AMA is a prime example of why it’s a really bad idea to try and bullshit engineering work. There is always someone who knows more than you and it’s not gonna go well. I was pretty heavily criticized this week for work that was reviewed by 2 senior engineers and a postdoc scientist, simply because I worded my conclusion a little too strongly and wasn’t as clear about the uncertainty in the findings as I should’ve been. Like, you can take a lot of heat even when the work is fine. I can’t believe OP was confident enough to throw this up on reddit lol

Don't let the whole "sitting behind a counter at Wal-Mart" thing trick you, retail pharmacists are specialized and well-trained, there's a reason that they have the same qualifications as their research counterparts. Don't be afraid to ask for their help. If you're nice (and they aren't swamped with work already), you can probably find someone who will go well out of their way to help you out.
