Men who are proven to have raped women / other men do go to prison, unfortunately with the way that society has evolved women can't always be trusted at their word. Innocent until proven guilty isn't to protect rapists, it is to protect false accusations from gaining traction and destroying innocent people's lives. Rape is a notoriously hard crime to prove, even more so because the line of consent isn't always 100% clear (that statement is probably going to get some hate but let me explain). If a girl consents to giving a guy a blowjob and near the end he can't control himself and cums in her mouth without her consent and she gets really mad, did he rape her? Some feminists would say that he had, but if the definition of rape is truly that loose then no wonder there are so many unproven rape accusations.
I think it's a sad step to have to take, but with the number of false accusations nowadays I would recommend that men and women that are accusing others of rape volunteer to take polygraph tests. Sure they won't hold up in court, but they will still give some shred of credibility to the accusation.
