Pretty sure the Swanston street McDonald's in Melbourne has a 'Maccas' sign instead of a normal one.

I don't know what the law is like in your area, but in my area the fine a venue gets for letting an underage person in far outnumbers the amount some broke high school kid will spend. And to counter that, when a club lets a lot of underage kids in, word gets around, and it is known as full of underage kids and then you are losing 80% of a bars revenue.

(This is in Melbourne, where the drinking age is 18, so if its an underage crowd its seen as immature and 20+ year olds don't want to go there.)
