Oh man, the Jaws ride! I rode this ride back when I was around 10 or so, and it is the genesis of my lifelong (and completely irrational) fear of man-made objects underwater (submechanophobia). So my question is did you enjoy inflicting permanent emotional damage on the children who rode your ride?

No, just kidding, thanks for the AMA you've got some pretty great responses here.

I get the feeling they'll probably just pay you off to get this over with. The officers in question may get some "additional training", but in the end there will be no accountability yet again. I'm very sorry for your loss OP, but I think we all know that there is a much bigger theme at work here in this country with the way we handle law enforcement. The sad truth is that officers are doing this kind of thing everyday, also to people and not just animals. I have been a major supporter of a federal mandate for all law enforcement officers to be wearing body cams at all times while handling matters with the public as well as a massive stiffening of penalties for officers who are caught falsifying reports. It's unfortunate that the actions of some officers has turned public sentiment to the point that many don't feel like they can trust in our law enforcement anymore. My question OP, is how has your view of police officers changed since this incident, if at all?
