I've worn hearing aids since I can remember. Doesn't bother me a bit. Everyone who knows me knows that i'm hard of hearing. My story is quite interesting but don't feel like flooding the AMA page with deafness. But your story is interesting. I've had tubes, but along time ago. It wasn't until recently i've became more comfortable with my deafness. I was always shy and embarrassed because I thought I was the only one who had my condition which wasn't true. When my batteries died at school, I would go to the bathroom and changed them in the stall. I wouldn't let anyone touch them at all, their expensive and don't want them broken. I'm thrilled your at normal hearing level and wish nothing but the best!

Did you ever wear hearing aids or were you deaf enough to have cochlear implant?

Did you ever use your deafness for your own benefits? ex: annoying kids in public. xD
