Thanks for asking. Thank him for his service, and as one grandson to another, ask as many questions and listen to as many stories as you can. I would love to know more about my granddad's experience.

Time as much as temperature. If you cook a pork shoulder to 185° over 8 hours it’s gonna be amazing. If you do it in 2 hours you might as well eat a boot.
