Indie games sounds like small teams or single individuals. How are you addressing the security concerns with providing software that may affect hundreds of users. These are not apps, but full executables right? With all privileges of the user running the game?

Have you interacted with the state medical board? If doctors are involved in this, then their license is at stake. What risks are they taking and why would they take those risks?
