That's an excellent point. In runescape I guess it happened because if you were looking to do some smelting with 10k coal, you didn't want to waste time buying 100 here and 100 there from everyone who was selling. Efficiency meant buying in bulk. But very few people had that kind of stockpile, so they were able to change extra in exchange for the increase in efficiency you'd be getting.

How did you make your break into the music composition scene for video games? My friend is currently studying music and that's what he wants to do, but he's not sure how to approach things after grad school.

BFME is one of my favorite games ever, from the theme to the build plot and castle mechanics to the campaign and modability of the game. Can you share any fun anecdotes of working on it, or anything you contributed that you were particularly proud of?
