I don't know these to be facts, so if I'm wrong feel free to correct me. But as i understand it the NBA makes more money then the NHL. Similarly, the WNBA loses money (or makes very little) every year. By that correlation, what makes you think a women's hockey league would be viable? Intentions are all well and good but the free market speaks for itself.

This is a genuine question, I'm not trying to flame here.
