Every business agreement I make across lots of different fields includes free gym memberships for every employee. I work to make things as easy as possible to encourage working adults with loads of responsibilities to also be able to care do themselves. I’m 6’3, 195, lean and in great shape because I know how important that is to mental health. I’ll go into some offices we have, or partial ownership in, and everyone there will almost mock me for being skin and bones and that I need to eat a burger. Meanwhile, their healthcare costs are huge, they miss days of work for health reasons, and think any comment about their weight is reason to try and involve HR. It’s completely maddening.
