Yes! A series, similar to GOT, would be much preferable to movies. There's just too much detail for even 3 or 4 movies and too much would get left out, or glossed over.

Hi, Justin! Thanks to you, I can't drive through Kerrville without visualizing it as the walled and fortified capital of the Texas Republic. Also, with all of the flooding Houston has had recently, it's not very hard to imagine the post-apocalyptic version, you wrote about. Did you make any road trips to find the locales in your books, or did you know, beforehand, what would work and where everything was going to take place?

I agree to an extent. I don't think it would make for an ongoing series like GoT, but I believe each book in the Passage trilogy could be a whole season of series. So, you would go in knowing that you are getting 3 years out of it, and there would be no chance that it would get ahead and start deviating the way GoT has.
