Since you went to school on the rez, how was Columbus taught there? I teach history and one of the topics we frequently explore is perspective of various people. Most Americans get the "Columbus was a hero" stuff in school, but I've often wondered if that is tempered somewhat on rez schools.

Not sure how long it takes, but Landstuhl is much closer to the Middle East, so casualties are taken there first for initial care rather than hauling them all the way back to the US.
