Christian apologetics and reformed epistemology both LOVE this entire argument but I don’t really get how it’s really strong. We must presuppose that God exists because reason and intelligence exists? These are really nothing but backwards proofs.

I see this sentiment a lot, especially in religious circles. People wanting to stick to their tradition or denomination to make things more LGBTQ affirming. Sometimes they make small strides but by and large people get burned out really fast because the authorities at be have too much power to allow any real change.

Maybe I’m wrong but it feels like OP’s comment has some more nuanced truth than what you just said.
