Yeah this annoys me about my wife. She grew up way out in the country and when we are in traffic and someone honks a horn, she starts looking around trying to figure out at whom they are honking. Well it's not annoying really, it's kind of cute. But I'm just like "ignore it baby, people from New Jersey think that that button on their steering wheels makes traffic jams go away".
