Eurgh, what people perceive as a "real job" is really frustrating to me. My best mate works two jobs, a retail job and transcription for a hentai comic website. The latter is the job he's had the longest and the one he can invest the most time into, since it's all working from home and involves a lot of social interaction and research, but most people view it as little more than a hobby, even people I know who don't actually work but live off benefits (yay, UK, laziness promotion state). Don't get me wrong, it's hilarious that his job involves observing hentai, but it's a completely legit job that often pays better than what most people consider his "real" job and it has much better incentives (at one point, he was considered for a work trip to Japan). A "real job" is whatever you do for a living. Granted, you guys didn't have much income from, but you clearly spent your time productively.

Edit: People seemed to be missing the "comic" bit after hentai.

Despite what the general public is saying, it's perfectly fine to say pickled cucumber, it's just commonly called either a pickle or a gherkin, but pickled cucumber isn't incorrect.

Probably also worth mentioning that sadly, a lot of people still believe women can't rape men, which skews the statistics, recorded incidents and convictions.
