Good, he's down in Huntsville but we're still in touch and still in business together on the song. How are your relationships going?

TBH the creators of the show (Fey, Richmond, Carlock) already had the idea to introduce the show through a viral video concept, and Jeff Richmond (show composer) had already basically written the song based on the fictional viral video. We came in at the 11th hour when a very random connection at the title design firm knew me. And I think it went something like, "Hey, you know the Gregory Brothers concept you have at the opening of the show, what if you got the Gregory Brothers to do it?" "Yes."

So we hopped in and just helped execute the song and make it sound as good as it could possibly sound, really fine-tuning the songification aspect. Plus we cut the video for the opening credits so it had a little bit of that remixed-youtube feel.

yes he really said the shotgun bit. so we made a song out of it.

then a while later we actually met him. first thing he said when walking in the room was, "You guys. You guys are good."
