I like this guy.

My guess would be, because anyone could just say /u/Mini_Miranda owes me money and report you to the union for a bill you may not owe. For instance I do KC and a book club debt popped up on my report through double day books. I've never ordered books through Double Day and so far it is an absolute hassle to get this $60ish dollar debt off of my credit score.

Edit to say I would NOT have been aware of this at all if it wasn't for the text alert they had sent me when it came up.
