Do people actually like these? I'm male and I don't even enjoy that lol.

These are especially bad in VR content because the camera has two view points so when they put it all close up the focal point is messed up and makes you feel crossed eyed.

I saw you mention that you will try anti depressants if medical marijuana don't work. Presumably you haven't tried it yet? I know I've seen CBD on the news help people who get uncontrollable seizures so maybe it would help with tics? Maybe something to look into if you haven't (although you seem to have exhausted many options thus far)
