I was just reading an article (sorry don’t recall the publication- WSJ maybe?) that talks about E Asian countries that are doing aggressive contact tracing noticing a mysterious increase in cases again; S Korea specifically has noted that a number of people who had recovered and subsequently come up with negative results twice (that being the guideline i think for determining recovery), seemed to get covid again. What their experts are theorizing is that the virus can lie dormant in the body and cause symptoms to reappear.

Any kind of folks you think are not suited to this type of work? Obv for you any potential negatives are outweighed by the positives so far, but any warnings or at least things to consider for people considering this line of work, that many people might not think of?

I heard a dermatologist mention there’s actually a rare skin allergy to water. The sufferer gets hives in contact with it, regardless of temperature.

Looking it up—Apparently taking antihistamines and using barrier creams before contact is the way to manage it.
