Is ESL Teaching in Korea still a good gateway to start as an American teacher with no experience and only a liberal arts bachelors degree? Or has that ship sailed because English is saturated in that country and they are focusing on home-grown teachers?

Is it worth it for Americans to travel to Korea to live or visit during this time or will even a year or two there cause long term health problems? Im having trouble securing long term work here in my field so thinking of going.
