Some docs can't handle it emotionally. Sure they deal with this kind of stuff every day but to them, its another baby born, stabilized, and on its way home. Kind of like a GM of a professional sports team, you don't explain to the player why you're cutting or trading him, you tell him, give him the papers and your contact info and wish him a nice day.
