I'm a college student moving into a carpeted apartment soon. I've only ever lived on hardwood/tile floors, so a Swiffer has been all I've ever needed before. Can you recommend a good, reliable vacuum that'll work well on all floors/carpets for not too much money? Would buying used be a smart option?

I realize I may be asking for the Holy Grail of vacuums, but I figure if anyone can find a vacuum like that, it'd be you.

Since Jesus would've been circumcised over 2,000 years ago, hasn't it probably...decayed...by now? It's soft organic material, not bone or anything. I would assume it'd be difficult to prove it ever was saved, much less that it may have survived for centuries.
