How are there so many Erdogan supporters in the US?

I've had Charter/Spectrum for about five years and the bill keeps going up. What's your advice for calling and getting a new package deal at a better price? I have cable, internet, and home phone and it's now almost $200/month. Should I threaten to leave or what? Directv sends me mail every week and would love me to change, but I don't want to. Once a buddy of mine was eating popcorn and drinking Diet Coke. He burped in my direction and it was as foul smelling as a loaded diaper. Totally different smell, but equally as horrible as a paper mill or bus station bathroom. What's the deal with that?
