Hey, I have the same condition as /u/FunnylilBunny.

Any tips on how to not be bitter and hate life?

This is something I've struggled with since I was a teenager. Being disabled sucks. There's no sugar coating and you shouldn't try. Accept it.

You have to focus on building your inner strength now. The way you see and respond to the world. And just like building your physical strength, it takes patience and practice, and some days will be harder than others. But you will also get a little bit stronger every day.

How you do that will be up to you. I don't know you personally, so I don't know all the challenges you face.

Throw yourself at those challenges. Feel angry when you need to, feel sad when you need to, but don't cling to those feelings. Once they start to subside pick yourself up and throw yourself at the challenges again. Just keep trying.

When did she let you know about her disability?

I've been dabbling in online dating and haven't decided the best time to bring it up yet.

^ Important. It's not necessarily a high chance. I wouldn't recommend it, but it has been done successfully before.
