That would almost be my definition of a miracle drug.

I mean, I could understand and justify it being illegal for 3 decades if it wasn't shown that it did much of anything.. but it's like they didn't even TRY to study it. Just ban it without study because of.. god knows. What the heck?

I am curious.. the moment you started giving medical marijuana.. how long until it started taking effect to eliminate/reduce seizures?

From 1 to 10, with 10 being immediate and complete temporary elimination of seizure and 1 being a placebo.. how effective was it?

Suppose the child is medicated for a long time, does it wean away and the seizures return?

Or is it as simple as 'while on MJ, only 4 seizures, period'?

Fundamentally, the "nothing to hide" argument is bullshit.

Why do you close the door when you're taking a shit? Why do you have doors (and locks) in your house? Why do you have curtains and blinds on your windows?

To protect your privacy. To prevent OTHER people committing crimes with access you might have given them had you had no privacy.

They are not just for decoration..

Suppose we completely neuter HIV's mechanisms for propagating in the immune system.

How far away do you believe we are from realistically hijacking the machinery to serve as viral therapy and modify a few choice parts of our own chromosomes (for good)?

Instead of infecting the nucleus of the cell to replicate, infect the nucleus of the cell to repair the genes necessary to, say, create the correct insulin-making proteins?
