Holy shit! BOOK IT is still a thing? I remember doing that in about 2nd grade, currently a college freshman. That's awesome.

Thank you so much for answering. I've heard that sort of thing is good to think on with general therapy too. I'm starting school in the fall, and I'm in an area heavy in veterans hospitals. I'll keep these in mind

Thank you. This really gives me hope. Whenever I'm in those areas of the city and I get catcalled at or feel in danger, I try and remember that not everyone is like that and that there are great people in a poor situation.

Since I was younger, I always knew I wanted to be a therapist. It wasn't until recently I decided that working with PTSD (and more specifically, soldiers with it) was the way I could be most helpful. In what ways could communication between veterans and those who want to help them be improved?
