A more logical viewpoint would be that your brain is synthesizing sensory input from not only your bodily senses, but also from your neurons (i.e. memory), and using its predictive cognition to determine the optimal course of action given defined parameters. Your argument for free will is nonsense unless you ignore how the brain works, and why it works how it does (that is, because the mutations that led to these traits were evolutionarily advantageous).

You still aren't "choosing" anything. That viewpoint requires a belief in mysticism, because there has to be something outside the physical, observable system that is controlling your thoughts. Otherwise, you're just renaming cause and effect to intentionally confuse people.

And your AMA is an example of American anti-intellectualism. We can all make claims about people, it's called an ad hominem argument and it's a sign of your ideas having no integrity.

That's not a concession, that's an unfalsifiable claim that you're not offering any evidence for.

Your attitude here is also completely asinine—"I choose to believe in it"? You realize that's circular, right? "I choose to believe in the ability to choose"? It's incoherent.
